The Struggle of Natural Make Up
Make up has never been my forte. Growing up, I was the tomboy of the family. Adorning any part of myself was done by my older sister either for her “practice session” or family outings. Everyday wear and everyday make up was a thing I did not believe in. So I remember clearly when I decided to do makeup on myself. YouTube being my resource, I searched for many different ways I could wear a natural look and then went down the stairs to see my mother astonished at the mere idea of me wearing anything on my face. She was convinced that I had finally grown into a woman.
As I began to learn about different ingredients in 0ur food, I became curious on my skincare regimen. Changing climates led me to reinvent my beauty regime, this time focused on natural things made in nature rather than created in laboratories. Make up was of no exception. A year ago, I collected all of my collected makeup, dumped them into a bag and my MUA friend was happy to have my collection. I embarked on a journey to treat my skin just as I wish to treat my body. And that is how I discovered Scratch Mommy. Not only did I learn how to make my own foundation, but I also found a priceless database of many of my skincare queries. I decided to order her foundation and powder to give a try. Here is what I found:
I hope this helps you just as much as it helped me.
With love,
